In a tongue-in-cheek celebration of parody videos being made legal, mash-up artists Cassetteboy have released ‘Cameron’s Conference Rap’ video in which the British Prime Minister appears to declare his disgust for the poor.
David Cameron used much of his Conservative Party speech to stir up patriotic fever and try to divert attention from highly-publicised Tory defections to UKIP and the damage they’re doing to his re-election hopes.
Set to the tune of Eminem’s iconic ‘Lose Yourself’, the rap features lyrical triumphs such as "Let me get this off my chest / Saying yes – we are selling the NHS" and "The last thing this country needs is us, the Conservatives / Worse than the alternative."
The two-minute video has gone down a treat on social media with comedian Russell Brand declaring it: “Amazing”.
And @Cassetteboy ends the argument against @David_Cameron forever. Amazing. http://t.co/GgzjwHY2YY
