A man in his 30s has been hospitalised after suffering a heart attack during a half marathon in Dublin.
The man was competing in the Clontarf Half Marathon in Dublin when he suffered the attack and collapsed.

He was attended to immediately by members of Dublin Fire Brigade and the Dublin Civil Defence. He underwent CPR and was shocked using a defibrillator.
The paramedics and first aid crew managed to resuscitate the patient after carrying out return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) protocols.
The man was brought to Beaumont Hospital for treatment.
