A teenager has been arrested after a serious assault in Dublin.
The victim was attacked on Crane Lane in Dublin 2 at around 3.30a.m on Saturday morning.
The man, aged in his early 30s, was stabbed by a number of youths who robbed his phone.
A taxi man assisted the injured man and took him to St James's Hospital.
He is being treated for his injuries, which are not life-threatening.
A description of the teenagers was circulated to gardaí, and an arrest was made a short time later.
The scene was located and preserved - and the phone was recovered when the arrest was made.
The detained man is being held at Pearse Street garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
