A man is recovering in hospital after being attacked in a paramilitary style shooting in Co Derry.

Four masked men shot the victim in the Lisfannon Park area at around 9.35pm on Tuesday night.

The 33-year-old was shot four times in the legs and abdomen.

His injuries are described as serious, but are not believed to be life-threatening.

The PSNI is asking for the community's help in identifying those responsible.
