A man remains in garda custody this morning after a pipe bomb was thrown into the front room of a family home in Limerick.
It happened shortly before 11am yesterday.
A number of people, including several children, were in the house on West Singland Road in Garryowen at the time of the attack.

They all escaped unharmed, and an army bomb disposal unit made the device safe.
An investigation is underway into whether the incident is linked to two pipe-bombings the previous night at houses in Kennedy Park.
The man who was arrested is being held at Henry Street Garda station in the city.
