An Irish man killed in a case of mistaken identity in Spain has been laid to rest in Dublin.

Trevor O'Neill from Drimnagh died in Majorca while on holiday with his family a fortnight ago.

Family and friends gathered at at St Bernadette's Church in Crumlin earlier.

Mr O'Neill was shot in the back while out celebrating his birthday on the island.

Spanish police said he was shot several times, and later died as a result of his injuries.

It is believed the city council worker was murdered amid the ongoing Kinahan-Hutch feud.
