A man in his 40s has died this morning at around 9.15am after a motorcycle crash in Kilkenny.

The single vehicle crash happened at Ballymack, Cuffesgrange, Kilkenny, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is currently closed to allow Garda Forensic Collision Investigators to examine the scene.
