Gardaí working in conjunction with the Revenue Custom's Service seized approximately 12 kilograms of cannabis herb on Friday
A man is due to appear in court in connection with the seizure of approximately 12 kilograms of cannabis herb in Dublin.
The drugs, with an estimated street value of €240,000 were seized as part of an intelligence-led operation in Balbriggan on Friday 9th December.
The joint operation between the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Revenue Commissioner’s Customs Service was carried out in Balbriggan.
A 60-year-old man was arrested and detained at Swords Garda Station, under the provisions of Section 2 of the drug trafficking act.
The man is due to appear before Cloverhill District Court tomorrow Tuesday 13th December.
