A man is due in court this morning charged in connection with the murder of Dermot Byrne in Dublin.
The 56-year-old father of three was found seriously injured and naked on North Street in Swords at around 3am last Sunday.
He was attended to by medical personnel - but was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
A 29-year-old man was first arrested in connection with the death earlier this week but was released without charge.
However yesterday he was re-arrested and charged in connection with the murder.
He is being detained at Swords Garda Station and is due before Dublin District Court later this morning.
