A man has been killed in a crash in County Carlow. The incident occurred at Ballymoon, near Muine Bheag at 8.50pm last night, when the motorbike he was riding collided with a digger.
The 27-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Waterford Regional Hospital for a post mortem.
The driver of the digger, a man in his 30s, was unhurt.

The road is closed to traffic and diversions are in place, to allow for a forensic examination of the scene this morning.
