Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a crash on the M7 motorway in Co Tipperary.
The collision happened on the main Dublin-Limerick road at around 7.30pm.
The man - aged 50 - died after his car came off the route at Ballyfinnan Newport, between the junctions for Birdhill and Castletroy.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road has now reopened following a forensic examination.

It is understood up to a dozen vehicles were involved in collisions on the road during heavy hail and sleet last night.
