A 30-year-old man has died following a collision in Galway.
The incident happened at around 1.40am on Saturday morning at Bushy Park on the Moycullen Road.
The pedestrian was seriously injured when he was struck by a car.

He was taken to University Hospital Galway in a critical condition. He was pronounced dead yesterday evening.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out in the coming days.
A forensic examination of the scene has been carried out, and the road has reopened.
