A man is described as being in a stable condition after he sustained a number of gun shots at a house in west Belfast on Friday.

The PSNI are investigating an attempted murder case after the 28-year-old was shot repeatedly at around 9.45am on Friday morning.

Officers say they believe two other men were involved in the attack, both of whom are described as being slightly under six feet tall.

The suspects are described as wearing cycling shorts or leggings, long-sleeved yellow hi-vis tops, dark hats, with black masks over their faces, and dark gloves at the time of the attack.

It is believed that they escaped from the scene on foot, and the victim raised the alarm with neighbours before he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
