While it won't make your commute any easier, at least your pocket doesn't have to be punished by the recent Luas strikes.

With the 12th day of industrial action now underway and set to impact an expected 90,000 commuters, it is possible to get your money back if you're one of them.

People who travel on a Taxsaver Leapcard who have been affected by any of the strike action on April 2nd, 3rd or 28th, and May 4th and 13th, or will be affected by the strikes today or on May 26th or 27th, can complete a refund form here.

Those travelling on a paper ticket who were affected on the dates above can also get their money back - though it will be in cheque form for potentially small amounts - can fill out this form

The forms should then be emailed to refunds@luas.ie, along with a copy of your ticket and appropriate ID.

You can also post your applications to:

Luas Customer Care,
Luas Depot,
Red Cow,
Clondalkin,
Freepost,
Dublin 22

All refunds are set to be processed at the end of May.
