There are calls for better crowd control for gigs at the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham in Dublin.

Locals have been complaining about anti-social behaviour following the recent Forbidden Fruit Festival, saying they are fed up with people getting sick in their gardens.

They have appealed to the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) to engage with them to stop the behaviour,

Rebecca Moynihan said residents are "blocked out" of the events taking place.

"Residents are very much kind of blocked out of the events that are taking place in IMMA," she said. "There needs to be more engagement on a local level to make sure that residents aren't overly inconvenienced.

"Nobody wants to wake up to somebody rolling out getting sick in to their back garden or going to the toilet in their back garden."

Forbidden Fruit Festival took place on the June Bank Holiday Weekend from June 3rd to June 5th.

Kilmainham will also host Walking On Cars, Green Day and The Coronas later this summer.
