The trial of a woman accused of murdering a man she claimed was stalking her has been shown a Valentine’s Day card he allegedly sent to her.

Marta Herda of Pairc na Saile, Emoclew Road in Arklow, Co. Wicklow is accused of deliberately driving them off a harbour in March 2013.

The words “thinking of you” were printed on the inside of the card that was held up for the jury to inspect during today’s evidence.

It had pink roses on the front, was dated May 21st 2012 and had a handwritten love letter on both sides.

It read: “I feel that I find you finally, the girl I was looking for in all my life. I wish to share my life with you only” and finishes with a phone number and the words “I’m mad about you”.

The card was allegedly sent by Csaba Orsas who used to work with Marta Herda in the BrookLodge hotel in Co. Wicklow.

Yesterday, the trial heard Marta’s claim that the Hungarian became infatuated with her and used to stand outside her home looking in her bedroom window.

It is the prosecution’s case that she drove them into the harbour at South Quay in Arklow on March 26th 2013 while knowing he couldn’t swim.

The 29-year-old denies the murder charge.
