One of the country’s fastest-growing motor dealership firms, Joe Duffy Motors says further expansion plans will generate an additional 300 jobs over the next four years bringing overall employment numbers to more than 700.

The firm, which currently operates 14 dealerships representing 15 different brands in the greater-Dublin area, Meath and Limerick regions.

It has expanded rapidly over recent years through organic expansion and acquisition of rival dealerships impacted by the recession. It has forecast turnover of €300m in the current year.

Joe Duffy’s expansion programme is due to start this month with the development of two new facilities at Airside Business Park in Swords, including the site of the former Renault premises once operated by Bill Cullen

They will house a flagship Jaguar Land Rover store and new premises for its Volvo and Kia dealerships there.
