Ten goals in two games, away to Real Madrid and at home to Roma. Have Barcelona reached a level not previously seen?

Graham Hunter spoke to Off the Ball last night to discuss Luis Enrique's side that seen to be going from strength to strength. "I cant remember seeing one club, one team play back-to-back games of the quality that was shown in the Clasico. A 4-0 win in the Bernabeu followed by a 6-1 win against Roma."

"When we watch the way this midfield connects with the front three, I've seen passages of play that I dont honestly expect to see bettered".

The front three of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar have grabbed the headlines this season due to their outstanding goal record. Hunter feels the level of play between the three and the midfield is something he has not seen before. "It's somewhere above automatic", he added about the level of communication between the players. He pointed at the level of player between Suarez and Ivan Rakitic which Hunter called "intuitive".

Despite winning the winning the treble last year, Luis Enrique did not receive a lot of praise but Hunter feels that has changed this year due to two particular reasons. The 45-year-old has matured which has helped with his man management. The captaincy of Andres Iniesta "is going significantly better than I would have imagined", Hunter added which has helped the relationship between Enrique and the players.

Barcelona return to action this weekend with a home game against Real Sociedad in the Camp Nou.
