A group of fire-fighters have been arrested in Sicily after allegedly starting blazes to earn cash.
The 15 volunteer fire-fighters are alleged to have faked emergency calls to receive the €10-per-hour commission for responding.
A number of the men, all from the province of Ragusa, are also suspected of arson.

Italian media is reporting that authorities became suspicious when it became clear the crew was being called out more regularly than others.
