Investigation after man reportedly electrocuted in Limerick shop

A man has been seriously injured after it is believed he was electrocuted in a shop in Limerick city.

It happened around 11.45am at an Eason branch located on O'Connell Street.

The store has been closed until further notice.

ESB Networks says it is aware of an incident which took place earlier.

The utility says it is assisting the emergency services and the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) with an investigation.
