Hozier, the Irish singer-songwriter who broke through with his hit song ‘Take me to Church’, is about to become even better known – as he features on the small screen in the US and UK.

The Wicklow musician releases his self-titled debut album tomorrow, has confirmed he will appear on the BBC’s music show ‘Tonight… with Jools Holland’ next Tuesday.

But the singer will also perform live on ‘Saturday Night Live’ on October 11^th, when former SNL cast-member Bill Hader returns to host the show.

SNL has been a flagship programme for NBC for 40 years, and launched the careers of countless comedians and actors.

So it’s a very big deal.

Just don’t do what the last Irish singer-songwriter did when she finished her set though, yeah?
