Aisling Kenny has appeared on Newstalk’s ‘Humans of The Election’ with her family, her partner and three children. They have been homeless for nine months and staying in a hostel on Dublin's Mountjoy Street.
This morning, they received notification from Dublin City Council that the emergency accommodation they are in is closing down and they have seven days to find alternative arrangements.

Aisling spoke to Jonathan Healy on Newstalk Lunchtime today about the situation the family have found themselves in.
She stated: "They actually didn't give us any reason.
"They didn't have the answers and they're working on trying, the word girl used was trying, to find us somewhere else in the next week."
Aisling went on to explain that the landlord sold the house they were living in for five years. They looked for somewhere else to live but the rents were too high.
Her children are aged 8, 5 and 2, "they kind of got settled but now this morning, they're back to square one. There's been tears.
"I just have to tell them I don't know because I don't know where we're going.
"We're not just numbers and facts and figures, we are actually real people. They are three young children who are going through this for the second time in nine months and they need to do something more.
