Gardaí say it appears the man was overcome by fumes while working at a grain store
A 33-year-old man has died following an industrial accident in County Wexford.
The man was working at a grain store tank at Foulksmills in New Ross and appears to have been overcome by fumes.
The accident happened at around 12.30pm this afternoon.
Emergency services are at the scene and a garda investigation is underway.
A garda spokesperson said medical assistance was administered at the scene – however the man was pronounced dead.
His body has been removed to University Hospital Waterford for a post mortem examination.
The Health & Safety Authority has been notified and inspectors are currently en route to the scene.
