Apple unveiled two new products of note on March 21st; iPhone SE and iPad Pro 9.7. The iPhone SE is different to previous iPhone devices in that its price is considerably lower than past releases.
Apple’s iPhone SE is modelled upon the 5S but has many of the features of a 6S. Two models are available: 16GB at €499 and 64GB at €599.
The 4-inch device feels quite small in the hand in comparison to more recently phone releases such as the Samsung Galaxy S7 or the iPhone 6S. There's no denying, however, that is is extremely comfortable to use.
The device has a 12MP camera and takes great images. There's plenty of photo features to play around with. There's 4K video capture too, which is remarkable for a device of this price. It also has a 1.2MP front camera for the all-important selfies.
The product I'm excited about, however, is the iPad Pro. At 9.7-inches, it's slightly smaller than the original iPad.
Internally there's the same A9X chip as the larger iPad Pro. Pricing starts from €699 for a 32GB iPad Pro 9.7.
It's thought that the device could replace a laptop, but the viability of that remains to be seen.
