Newstalk broadcaster George Hook is reflecting ahead of his final Right Hook Show next week.
Writing on Twitter, he said: "Hard to believe it is just over a week to go until the final edition of The Right Hook goes out."
"I never thought this rookie broadcaster would last so long. I still pinch myself when the red light goes on in the studio every day."

George is taking over a new lunchtime slot from September, running from 12.00pm to 2.00pm.
As part of the changes, Chris Donoghue will co-anchor a new Drive show, where he will be joined by Sarah McInerney, political correspondent with The Sunday Times.
The duo will be on air daily from 4.00pm and listeners can expect an exciting and lively debate on the day's news - with everything from business and technology to entertainment and sports on the table.
But George will still be giving his same energy and enthusiasm at a slightly earlier time.
