Gardaí have seized drugs worth €190,000 in Dublin.

2.65kg of cocaine was discovered during a planned search of a premises in a Clondalkin shopping centre yesterday afternoon.

The search came as part of an operation targeting the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the area.

Other drug paraphernalia was located and seized during follow-up searches.

Gardaí arrested a man in his late 40s following the seizure.

He is currently detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.
