Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to €200,000 have been seized in Co Cavan.

Gardaí from Ballyconnell carried out a search at a disused premises in Mullanwary at around 7 o'clock last night, where they discovered the grow house.

There were no arrests made.

The seizure was part of an ongoing intelligence-led operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Cavan area.
