Gardaí renew appeal over missing man Barry Corcoran

Gardaí and Crimestoppers have renewed their appeal for information on the disappearance of Wicklow native Barry Corcoran.

Mr Corcoran was last seen on Cremona Road, Ballyfermot on the night of Monday 6th July 2015.

He is described as being 5’11” in height and of thin build. He has short grey hair and blue eyes and is described as walking with a slight “shuffle.”

He has an old scar on the bridge of his nose.

When last seen Mr Corcoran was wearing a dark rain jacket, blue jeans and black Puma runners.

Gardaí and Mr Corcoran's family and friends are very concerned for his safety and wellbeing.

Superintendant Brendan Connolly said gardaí are “confident that someone knows what happened to Barry.”

“If you are a friend or acquaintance of Barry and have any information that could help locate him please call Crimestoppers on 1800 25 00 25.”

Calls to Crimestoppers are completely anonymous. Callers do not need to leave their name or address.

Gardaí said anyone who provides information which significantly affects the investigation may be eligible for a cash reward. Rewards are provided at the discretion of the gardaí.

Alternatively, members of the public can contact Ballyfermot Garda Station or any Garda Station.
