An investigation is underway into a major drugs seizure in Dublin worth €674,000.
Two women are in custody this morning after two searches were carried out in Bluebell yesterday evening.
The first seizure was made when gardaí stopped a car in the area at around 5pm and found €4,000 worth of heroin.
A woman in her 30s was arrested at the scene and is being held at Ballyfermot Garda Station.
In a follow up search at a nearby house, 4.5kg of heroin and crack cocaine worth €670,000 was seized.
A small amount of prescription tablets were also seized.
A second woman was arrested at the house and is being held at Kevin Street Garda Station.
Gardaí said the seizures were made as part of on-going investigations targeting an organised crime group in South and West Dublin.
