Gardaí have named the man found stabbed to death in Dublin on Friday as 32-year-old Michal Kurek.
Mr Kurek was originally from Poland and had been living in the Dublin area for a number of years.
Investigators believe he may have been stabbed quite recently and have issued a renewed appeal for information regarding his recent movements.
Investigators are also appealing to Mr Kurek’s friends and associates to contact the incident room at Balbriggan Garda Station on 01-802 0510, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
Mr Kurek’s remains were discovered on Friday morning about a kilometre outside of Ballyboughal on the road to Oldtown in North County Dublin.
Gardaí are investigating whether he may have been killed elsewhere before being dumped in the lane way.
