Gardaí have seized cannabis herb worth an estimated half-a-million Euro in County Kildare.

The seizure was made by Gardaí from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau supported by the Special Crime Task Force.

Following a search of two vehicles at a shopping centre close to Kildare Town yesterday evening, 25kg of cannabis herb was discovered and seized.

Two men in their late 30s were arrested at the scene and currently being detained at Naas Garda Station.

The discovery was made shortly before 7:30pm yesterday, the 5th of April 2017.
