Gardaí are investigating after a man’s body was discovered at his home in County Kildare.

The man - aged in his 40s - was discovered at a home in Ardrew Meadows, Athy, at approximately 10pm last night.

The scene has been reserved for a technical examination – and the body remains in the house.

Gardaí have requested the services of the State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy.
