Gardaí investigating Meath cash-in-transit robbery

Gardaí in Kells are investigating a cash-in-transit robbery that occurred at around 10:40am this morning.

The robbery took place outside a bank in Oldcastle, County Meath.

Gardaí said two men made off with a cashbox and fled in a black Chrysler Voyager with blacked out windows.

The car was found empty a short time later at Stoney Road outside of the town.

No injuries were reported, no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing. 

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen a black Chrysler Voyager with black tinted windows and the registration number 05D 18246 between 10.30am and 11am in the vicinity of Kells.
