Gardaí are investigating an alleged sexual assault at University College Dublin (UCD).
It is understood a student reported a rape to gardaí, saying it took place some time between 10.00am and 11.30pm on campus.
The incident is reported to have taken place last Thursday.
A spokesman for UCD said the reports of a rape had been brought to all relevant authorities, who are liaising with gardaí.
The UCD Students' Union yesterday reminded students about the college's Walk Safe campaign - which is available during autumn and winter semesters.
