Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Vikings, the hugely successful History Channel production that is filmed in Ireland, has announced a casting call for extras this week.

The Canadian/Irish production recently is in the early stages of filming their fifth season, with the conclusion of the fourth series airing last month. 

Announced on the Vikings Extras Facebook page, the team are looking specifically for:

• Older males in close proximity to Wicklow/Dublin with good availability
• Age range: 60 - 75
• Beards
• A degree of drama experience (plays, tv, film, street performance) would be essential
