The chairperson of the Disclosures Tribunal has warned that some witnesses need to “wake up and start helping us.”

Mr Justice Peter Charleton has asked for statements from four senior Gardaí to be delivered to him by 10am tomorrow morning.

It follows the circulation of notes taken by Chief Superintendent Terry McGinn at a meeting to discuss Garda whistle blower Keith Harrison.

The meeting on October 8th 2013 discussed a statement from Garda Harrison's partner Marissa Simms that alleged he threatened her.

Justice Charleton says retired Assistant Commissioner Kieran Kenny and Superintendent Tony McLoughlin should supply statements.

He also wants additional statements from Chief Superintendent McGinn and Superintendent Eugene McGovern.
