Nobody is reported to have been injured, and nothing was taken.

After a struggle with the owner of the premises, the men left the scene.

A wine-coloured car was seen leaving the area.

Shortly after, Gardaí stopped a car near Piltown. They arrested three people travelling in the car - a man in his 20s, a man in his 30s, and a juvenile male.

The men were taken to Thomastown Garda Station, while the juvenile was taken to Kilkenny Garda Station.

The car - a Renault Megan with 01 D plates - was seized for technical examination.

A fourth man, aged in his 20s, was arrested in the early hours of this morning.

He is being held at Kilkenny Garda Station.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have been in the Piltown area between 10pm and 11pm last night (Thursday July 13th) to contact them at Kilkenny Garda Station on 056-7775-000 or Thomastown Garda Station on 056-775-4150.
