At least four people,including police and civilians, have been killed in Cairo following a bomb explosion.

The incident happened on a crowded street near the River Nile and the Egyptian foreign ministry.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the explosion.

According to the BBC, initial reports said at least four people, two policemen and two civilians, were killed.
