Five men have being detained in Tralee after being found on a ship in Co Kerry.

Gardaí believe the men were stowaways on a vessel that docked at Fenit Harbour in Tralee.

They were detained at 12.15pm on Friday afternoon.

The men, who are all non-EU nationals, are all believed to be aged in their 20s.

They are being questioned at Tralee garda station.
