So far there is very little information on this fourth movie in the Predator franchise, but we have just got our first look at The Predator.
Following on from the 1987 original, the 1990 sequel and 2010's rightly forgotten Predators - the less said about the two Alien VS Predator movies, the better - this sequel / reboot will be helmed and co-written by Shane Black.
Black has previously directed Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Iron Man 3 and the upcoming Ryan Gosling / Russell Crowe cop-comedy The Nice Guys, but is best known for writing the screenplays to modern action classics such as Lethal Weapon, The Last Boy Scout and The Long Kiss Goodnight.
However, Black actually starred in the original Predator movie - he was the soldier who was always telling bad jokes, trying to get Sonny Landham to laugh - and is believed to have been involved in some script doctoring on that movie.
So far nothing else about The Predator has been announced; no cast, no set release date, no telling if the movie takes place on Earth or on the Predator's home planet, but Fox are clearly gearing up for a big marketing push, releasing this image this early.
Here we go again, bro.
