FIFA vice-president Jim Boyce says the reputation of world football's governing body will be damaged until the fallout from the report into alleged World Cup bidding corruption is resolved.

Independent investigator Michael Garcia has resigned from the ethics committee, after his appeal against the findings of his own report was dismissed.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Boyce reiterated his support for Garcia's full report to be revealed.

"This has got to a stage now where people are absolutely fed up with it and I think we've now gotten to a stage where we need to bring it to a conclusion. It would have been much better if Michael Garcia had been able to issue or publish what he felt needed to be published," said Boyce.

FIFA president Sepp Blatter was reluctant to speak about that matter earlier today.

"I have given an official statement. For the time being I have nothing to add," said the 77-year-old who will run for office again, despite earlier suggestions that his current term would be his final one.
