Bank sparks controversy with ad about young people moving in with parents
Bank of Ireland has sparked a social media debate after it posted an ad for its mortgage packages.
The Twitter ad - which has now been deleted - highlighted the case of one couple who moved in with their parents to get enough money together for a deposit.
A post detailing the couple's story was available on the bank's website, but has also been deleted.
Defence Forces to be deployed in Donegal following floods
Defence Forces personnel are to be deployed in Donegal following severe flooding.
The Minister with Responsibility for Defence, Paul Kehoe, confirmed 30 personnel will be on the ground on Friday morning.
They will assist Donegal County Council and those affected by the flooding.

Children's rights activist Christina Noble has described the experience of being held at knife point in her own home.
The 72-year-old founder of the Christina Noble Children's Foundation told The Pat Kenny Show about a man breaking into her house at night and repeatedly threatening to kill her.
Ms Noble had recently been in Vietnam, but she was told to return home after she collapsed. Back in Ireland, a doctor told her she was exhausted.

Restaurant chain to create 75 new jobs
Thai food restaurant delivery business Camile Thai Kitchen is to open three new branches, creating 75 new jobs.
The new branches will open in Lucan and Swords in Dublin, and on the Newtownards Road in Belfast.
The brand currently has 12 restaurants in Dublin - as well as in Belfast and Limerick.
