Almost 14,000 Irish customers of the insolvent insurance company, Enterprise Insurance, are due to receive compensation from the company's broker.
Wrightway Underwriting, which is owned by Zurich Insurance, made a statement earlier today advising of their decision.
The Wexford based company said that the amount returned to customers will be the cost of their remaining premiums.
A statement from the company said: "“Wrightway has committed to helping its broker clients deal with affected policy-holders and, with this in mind, Wrightway has decided to make an ex gracia payment to its brokers to pass onto their policy holders which is equal to the value of the premiums from now until the end of their current policy contracts."
