While she is still best known as being the genius muggle from the Harry Potter movie series, Emma Watson has also been garnering a lot of attention for her tireless work in tackling some current social issues head on.

Having taken a year out from acting to focus on her position as United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, Watson was in attendance in the UN earlier this week to give her speech on on-campus sexual violence and gender inequality.

While we will next see the actress in an adaptation of Dave Eggers' The Circle, as well as one of the titular characters in Kenneth Branagh's live-action version of Beauty And The Beast, Watson filmed both those movies prior to taking the year off, and her speech is an introduction to the "Together for the 2030 Agenda: Partnering for Women, Children and Adolescents, to Thrive and Transform the World” event.

The event is leading into the "HeForShe IMPACT 10X10X10 University Parity Report", which consists of ten leading global universities as they lay out concrete commitments and begin charting their progress toward achieving gender equality.

The report in full can be found here.
