An elderly woman has been attacked with a crowbar after catching a man trying to force open a church donation box in Armagh.
The woman, who is aged in her 70s, has been left shaken and bruised after the incident.
A man has been charged in connection with the incident in Portadown on Friday afternoon.

It is understood the man also demanded money from the woman.
At first she refused to hand over her purse - but when the man struck her with the crowbar she gave him a sum of cash.
The woman was left shaken and bruised after the attack, which is believed to have happened at a church in the William Street area.
A 45-year-old man is due before Lisburn Magistrates Court tomorrow.
