City centre commuters travelling through Dublin suffered delays this evening as fire fighters attended the scene of a fire.
Units from the Dublin Fire Brigade rushed to the fire on Bishop Street shortly before 5pm.
The street is located near to the Dublin Institute of Technology on Aungier Street, and residential apartments.
The area was partially obstructed and people travelling in the affected area should expect delays.

The firefighters made use of a 100ft metal turntable ladder to help them fight the blaze.
