It's over a year since it was first released, but Disney's film continues to captivate children, leading the wish-list for Christmas gifts and getting a re-release in cinemas on Friday.

For long-suffering parents, many of whom have been besieged with Frozen songs like ‘Let it Go’ and ‘Do you Want to Build Snowman’ for months, it might all be beginning to get a bit much. With the re-reelase Omniplex cinemas are hosting sing-along screenings of the film - an idea that may well seem to many parents like opting in to torture. So Omiplex cinemas, who are are hosting Frozen sing-alongs this weekend, will be offering earplugs to parents at some screenings.

Colm Kenny, the manager of Omniplex Rathmines, explained: “The re-release of Frozen means that for many parents there will be no escape from their offspring's renditions of ‘Let It Go’. So we thought we’d help dull the pain by providing free ear plugs to parents attending this weekend’s sing-along screenigns, in the new Rathmines cinema. We think they’ll be in high demand.”
