Gardaí have seized drugs with an estimated street value of €300k in Meath and Louth.
The drugs were seized as part ofan operation led by the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau targeting serious criminal activity.
Approximately 13 kilos of cannabis herb was seized when they intercepted and searched a number of vehicles near Ashbourne this afternoon. A follow up search was later carried out at an address in Drogheda where a further 1.5 kilos of cannabis herb was recovered along with a quantity of cocaine.
Three men, aged in their 20s, 30s and 50s and a woman in her 50s have been arrested as part of the investigation. They are currently detained under drug trafficking legislation at Finglas and Drogheda Garda Stations.
