A woman is in a serious condition in hospital following a road crash in Co Donegal.

It happened on the N13 Letterkenny to Derry Road at around 8.30am this morning.

The 30-year-old woman was the driver and sole occupant of one of the cars.

She was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver and sole occupant of the other car, a man aged in his late 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
