A couple of years ago, the All-Ireland winning Dublin minor team formed an unlikely bond with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe after they bumped into him while celebrating their win in 2012.
It looks as though the actor was keen to repay his friends after they appear to have covered his taxi fare at some stage during the night of celebrations. One of the team members posted a photo on Twitter today showing a €50 note along with a message from Radcliffe.
Written on what looks like notepaper from The Morisson Hotel, in Dublin, the message reads:
"Hi guys, so thanks again for paying for my cab! I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t honour my word and pay you back. Once again, great meeting you all. Hope this covers it. Daniel R."

At the time, photos (as above) of the star holding the Tom Markham cup went viral after group continued celebrating back in the team captain David Byrne’s house.
Last month, Radcliffe took the opportunity to meet up with his old friends while he was in Dublin for the Irish premiere of his new film 'What If’.
Kudos to the guy for repaying his debts we only wish written the note with a quill and stuck a Hogwarts logo on it!
